- The photograph and all printed details must be visible without shadows or glare.

- Renew an expired or near-expiring passport before applying.
Applicant Recent Digital Photo
- A plain white background is required
- A direct, full-face view
- No glasses or tinted lenses
- Natural lighting with no harsh shadows
- Free from edits or filters
Can I use a phone photo of my passport page?
A photo from a phone can only be used as long as the image is clear, of high resolution, in colour, and shows the entire page without shadows or glare.
What happens if the uploaded photo is rejected?
The applicant will be contacted and asked to upload a new photo that meets the requirements.
