Is Umrah Covered Under the Saudi Tourist eVisa?

Yes. Eligible travellers can use the Saudi Tourist eVisa to visit Saudi Arabia and perform Umrah outside the Hajj season.

Note: The tourist eVisa does not allow travellers to perform Hajj or work in Saudi Arabia.

What is Umrah?

Umrah is a voluntary pilgrimage to Makkah that Muslims can perform at most times of the year, outside the Hajj period. Unlike Hajj, Umrah can be performed at different times throughout the year.

Travellers should follow Saudi Arabia’s entry and pilgrimage requirements before and during their journey.

1. Passport Biopage Scan: Provide a scan of the applicant’s passport biopage with all details, including the MRZ, clearly visible.
2. Applicant Photo: Submit a recently taken digital photo of the applicant. The photo must be taken on a plain background and be free of any edits or glare.

Step 3: Pay the Visa Fees: Complete the Saudi Arabia eVisa Fee payment using any available secure payment option.

Step 4: Receive the Approved eVisa: After approval, the eVisa is sent to the applicants registered email. Download and keep a copy for travel.
