I am an Indian passport holder and would like to seek official guidance regarding Umrah visa eligibility and documentation requirements.

I have accepted Islam and sincerely wish to perform Umrah. At present, due to an ongoing legal matter in India, I am unable to change my legal name on my passport. My passport otherwise remains valid, and it does not contain any reference to religious affiliation.

I would kindly like to confirm the following:

Whether a Muslim individual may apply for and perform Umrah using a passport that reflects their original legal name.

Whether the absence of a legal name change has any impact on Umrah visa issuance or immigration clearance.

What supporting documents, if any, are officially accepted by Saudi authorities to confirm eligibility for Umrah in such cases?

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Syed Muhammad Saleem, and I write to address a matter of deep personal and spiritual significance related to two blessed pieces of the Kiswah (Ghilaf-e-Kaaba), which have been in my family for generations.

My grandfather, Syed Abdul Sattar, chief of pilgrims performed Hajj in 1923 and was honored by King Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia with two pieces of the Kiswah—one black (from the outer side of the Kaaba) and one red (from the inner side).

These were passed down to my late father, Syed Abdul Ghaffar Naqvi, and eventually to me, as per my wishes. My father handed over to my wife, my paternal cousin.

However, a dispute arose when my elder brother requested one of the pieces, and it was framed and displayed without my consent. Despite the spiritual reverence held by my family for these relics, I felt the sacred items were being treated as objects of contention, rather than symbols of unity and faith.

After much reflection, I have decided that the rightful place for these sacred pieces is with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to return them to their original custodian, Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, the grandson of King Abdul Aziz.

I am prepared to present photographs of the Kiswah for verification and hand them over to the Saudi Embassy or Consulate General in Karachi for safe return.

I trust that my actions will honor the sanctity of these blessed pieces and bring peace to my family.

I am Engineer, from Ethiopia, I have finished Employment agreement with Saudi based construction company as "Contract Engineer" position. However, even if my Employer was applying for visa for the past two weeks on Qiwa, it is rejecting by saying "This nationality is currently restricted". Dear Sir,

ASSALAMU ALAIKUM WA-RAHMATULLAH.

I sent my younger brother to Saudi Arabia on a work visa 10 months ago.
The visa demand letter said that if he works for 12 hours, he will be paid 1200 riyals, they are doing 12 hrs duty everyday but they are saying that they will pay 800 riyals and the remaining 400 will be paid later. In the season of Hajj-2025 they did their work very hard is in Makkah MMMSL metro station as a cleaner. They get only basic salary, they done overtime but even their company do not give overtime wages.On the other hand, they do not pay the salary properly every month. They pay 1 month's salary after 2-3 months. They are supposed to pay 200 riyals for food, but the company does not even pay the food properly.
Now my younger brother is in a lot of trouble. Now my brother is saying that he should bring him back to his country by any means. But how is it possible? The company has not renewed the iqama even after the first 3 months of iqama have expired. The company has even kept his passport for itself.
What is the way out of this problem or how can I bring my younger brother back to his country or leave from present company for join another company for work by valid residential permit.

Please help us.
